This is a tribute to the individuals and families who left their home countries to come to the United States and who gave their descendents a better life. The Evans, O'Brien/Gaffney, Deluhery, Helmer, Ackes, Ottene, Binner, and Ballou families eventually settled in the Buffalo, New York area. The Lawless family lived in Prince Edward Island, Canada. The Finns were living in New York City and Connecticut in the 1860's.
